Meet the Pop Star

Hi, I’m Lauren! I graduated from SMU (go Mustangs!) thinking I’d take a totally different career path — but life, and popcorn, had other plans.

When my mom — my best friend — was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer, my world stopped. It’s the most helpless feeling, watching someone you love the most go through something like that. So instead of sitting still, I decided to do. Popcorn had always been our thing — our comfort, our tradition — so I started popping and selling small batches to raise money for breast cancer research.

What began as a distraction turned into my purpose. It became a way to share joy, love, and a reminder that small acts (and snacks!) can make a big difference.

Our Story

Popcorn was never just popcorn in our house. It was movie nights, Sunday afternoons, and a reason to sit a little longer together. My mom taught me how to make the perfect batch — thoughtfully, intentionally, and always with heart.

That same spirit lives on in Live Love Pop. Every bag is small-batch, oil-popped, and made to fuel kindness, connection, and giving back. Each flavor supports a cause close to our hearts, because if snacks are a must (and they are), then giving back should be too.

What started as one mom and daughter’s way of coping has grown into a mission-driven lifestyle brand built on love, community, and purpose — with a mild (okay, major) obsession with popcorn.
